Field Trips

  1. An overnight school trip (Shugaku-ryoko) is held before graduation for both 6th and 9th graders.
  2. Study activities are planned and carried out accordingly.

Undokai (Field Athletic Day)

Preschool and Kindergarten have their Undoukai in November at Kaimuki Middle School. 1st grade to 9th grade students participate in Undoukai in September at Kaiser High School.

Class Visits

School hours of any supplementary school are very limited compared to any schools in Japan, so students have to study under stressful conditions. Because of this, individual study at home is crucial. Therefore, school and parents should work together and instruct students from each respective standpoint.

As a mean to improve the effectiveness of the instruction, the school plans and carries out the program of class visits by parents. The school also schedules class and individual conferences.

Correspondence Course

The school encourages the participation of correspondence courses offered by the Japan Overseas Educational Services (a non-profit organization). The procedure is to apply, not through our school, but directly to the Japan Overseas Educational Services. By applying directly to the Japan Overseas Educational Services, students receive the teaching materials sooner and educational effectiveness becomes more convenient.

Application forms and information are available at the school office.

Library

The school has over 7,000 volumes of Japanese books for the students. Parents are in charge of organizing the library system.

The library is located classroom 102 in N building.
